Buying a Home
Having the right realtor will help alleviate some the concerns and worries that go along with buying a home.

Using a Realtor
A knowledgeable sales agent will have current information on the local real-estate market, have experience in negotiating, be capable of developing a market plan, and offer invaluable customer service. By using a realtor you gain complete electronic access to every home listing, with new listings being delivered to your email box within minutes of the home going on the market. Buying a home through an agent is free from any realtor commission.

Making Contact
You can be assured that I will personally take of all your home buying requirements. I welcome you to contact me by telephone (613) 724-8110 or email at guy@guywalker.ca for inquiries about buying a home in the Ottawa area. For a complete list of contact information, visit the contact page.

The Next Step
The next step will be to sit down together and review the details of buying a home. The first meeting is considered a free consultation with no commitment required. The client can expect a modest discussion about the following items: the amount you can afford, the amount you can expect to receive from a bank, explanation of the MLS system (home listings), the lawyer's role, breakdown of the closing costs, logistics of closing, negotiating the offer, and drafting of the offer.
